"Handles traffic spikes well, with a few reservations"
Scaleway has been solid for us when traffic picks up. Adding more resources was easy enough and didn’t take long, which was a relief. I wouldn’t say everything has been perfect, but when it comes to scaling, it’s done the job well so far.

"Pretty decent API, docs could use some cleanup"
I’ve been using the Scaleway API and overall it works fine most of the time. The dev tools are decent, they get the job done, but the documentation can be a bit hit or miss. A few pages felt outdated or skipped over small details, so I ended up guessing here and there. Not a bad experience, just not as smooth as I hoped.

There are loads of cloud options to pick from, which is great, but it did take me a little while to figure out which one was the best fit for me

"I’ve been using Scaleway for a while now..."
I’ve been using Scaleway for a while now, and so far it’s been very dependable. The uptime has been solid, and I haven’t run into any random outages on my end. My servers just stay up and do what they’re supposed to do, which gives me a lot of confidence. I also haven’t had to contact support much, that’s usually a good sign

"Decent service, but the docs need work"
I used scaleway for a small project and the service itself was fine, the documentation just made everything take longer than it needed to. A few pages felt outdated or skipped over small steps, so I ended up guessing my way through parts of the setup.

The examples also didn’t always match what I was seeing in the current UI, which gets frustrating when you’re just trying to move quickly. The support links helped a little, but for a cloud provider I really expected the docs to be clearer.

"Too much effort for an unreliable network"
The network was really hit or miss for me. Some days it worked fine, but then out of nowhere I'd get lag, drops, or random connection issues. I reached out to support and they did respond, but it never really fixed the problem. it just felt like a waste of energy having to keep checking, troubleshooting, and hoping it would work properly. It wasn't the worst service ever, but it definitely wasn’t reliable enough for me.

well... I mostly use Scaleway for smaller cloud projects, and the control panel has been straightforward for me. It’s easy enough to find my servers, billing info, and settings without digging around too much. A few pages can be a little slow to load now and then, and some options weren’t totally obvious at first, but after clicking around a bit, it all made sense.

"I finally got it running after messing..."
I finally got it running after messing with it for a while, but wow, for a minute there I thought I was about to lose my entire mind. It wasn’t impossible or anything, just a little more hassle than I expected. Once it was up, though, it was fine.

"Good for audits, but we need it to stay that way"
So far, it feels solid for our audit needs. The security docs are clear, and I didn’t have to dig around forever to find the compliance info, which is a big plus. That said, if those resources ever get outdated or harder to access, we’d probably start looking at other options.

"Incident updates could be a bit clearer"
Overall, the service has been fine for us, but the incident updates could definitely be better. A couple of times, it felt like we heard about issues a little later than expected, and the updates didn’t always explain what was happening in plain terms. Even a short note with a timestamp and what’s being worked on would make a big difference.

"Fast servers, but a few little slow moments"
I’ve been using scaleway.com for a few months now, and overall the server speed has been good. My sites usually load quickly, and the CPU/RAM side of things feels stable, even when there’s more traffic than usual. So on the main stuff, I can’t really complain too much.
That said, I did run into a couple of short slowdowns here and there, and yeah, I noticed them. Nothing huge, nothing site-breaking, but slow is slow, and when it happens more than once, it gets a bit annoying. Still, for the price and the uptime, I’m mostly happy with it. I’d give it 4 stars.

"Support was a little slow"
I did get help in the end, so that was good. Just took longer than I expected. A few replies felt slow. Not terrible, but a bit frustrating

"The billing was super confusing"
I had a frustrating experience with the billing. The invoice wasn’t clear at all, and then there were extra charges I wasn’t expecting. It feels like companies always make this stuff way more complicated than it needs to be, and this was definitely one of those situations.

"Support seemed kind of lost"
I reached out to support and, it felt like they didn’t really know what was going on. It took ages just to get through the whole back-and-forth, and by the end I still didn’t have a fix. I kept thinking maybe it would get sorted in the next message, but nope, just kind of went in circles...

"Getting too expensive for the value"
I thought Scaleway was going to be a cheaper option when I first signed up, but once everything added up, it didn’t feel worth it anymore. The pricing is a bit confusing, and compared to other services I’ve used, I’m just not seeing enough value for what I’m paying. If this doesn’t improve or get clearer soon, I’ll probably move my stuff somewhere else.
